How do I get a boot removed from my car?
When your car is “booted,” you must pay all of your unpaid parking tickets plus a “boot fee” before the boot is removed. For questions or to find out how much money is owed call 207-874-8498 or 207-874-8443. Payments are made in the Treasury Division which is located in room 102 of City Hall and open from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To pay the charges by phone with a credit card, please call 874- 8443. Vehicles that are still booted after 5 p.m. will be towed. Please contact police dispatch at 207-874-8575 for information about the tow. All parking tickets and related fees must be paid before the car is released by the tow company.
