55 Brookside Road - New Development Review Project

To residents and property owners: Halon Stone, on behalf of Richard Schilling, has submitted a Level 2 site plan application for the installation of a retaining wall at 55 Brookside Road.  The proposal is to construct a 25 foot long retaining wall to support an eroding hillside slope near the existing stairs.  The wall will have a poured concrete footing and rise to a maximum height of 38 inches above grade.  The site is located in the Residential R-3 zone and is subject to review under Portland's Site Plan and Shoreland Zoning Regulations.

In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a Level II Site Plan application must be sent to property owners located within 500 ft. of the subject property (or 1,000 ft. if the project is a subdivision or map amendment for a site located within an Industrial Zone). This application will be reviewed administratively by City Staff. This is the only notice you will receive.
